  • Take down

A device that rotates and lowers the knitted fabric by pinching it between the front and back rollers. Main roller and sub roller.

  • Take down data

Data for operating the take down device.

  • Take zero position ??

Return the stitch motor and the racking motor to the origin position, and reset the carrier catching pin and cams and pressers in the carriage.

  • Tension brake

A component of the tension equipment that suppresses the yarn from being sent out by the tension disk when the carrier is reversed.

  • Tension control

The tension of the buffer arm is automatically changed according to the yarn supply speed.

  • Tension disk

Components of the tension equipment that adjusts the yarn tension.

  • Tension equipment

A device that detects yarn breakage and adjusts yarn tension.

  • Tension Measuring machine

A device that sets the yarn feeding amount of the i-DSCS+DTC device by measuring the elasticity of the yarn.

  • Terry weave

A special woven fabric made by Terry weave machine. Usually used for towel.

  • Test pattern

A check pattern used for checking size, curve, and perspective of a mesh in the Mapping Editor.

  • Test piece

Knitted fabric for checking loop size and texture.

  • Text

Character information input in a pattern. Used for writing comments such as sewing instructions.

  • Textile

Woven fabrics and fibers. All types of fabrics.

  • Texture map

The map information that gives the feel of a material on the surface of a 3D model.

  • Texture sample

Knitting is performed at several levels of loop length using the stitch adjustment data obtained by the loop routine. A sample for determining the appropriate [loop length] for the material.

  • The number of heddles

The number of heddles used on a weaving machine.

  • 3D Item

A function which creates a pattern for knitting, and automatically fits it to a 3D model using a selected item (pullover, sleeveless, bottom, etc.) or style (set-in, raglan, etc.) from the SDS-ONE APEX series database.

  • 3D model

An object used in 3D computer graphics. Some are called avatars in the shape of humans or mannequins, while others have other shapes.

  • 3D project

3D data that consists of a 3D model, pattern data, and mapping materials in a single file. It sometimes indicates 3D model-only or 3D model+pattern data. The file extension is .SCTF.

  • 3D sewing lines

Sewing information input to the pattern for 3D simulation.
