  • Fabric take down detecting plate

    Detecting plate that senses winding of the knitted fabric.

  • Fabric type

    Information about the type of fabric and the number of pieces required for one garment to be set for each pattern.

  • Fabric utilization/Yardage

    The amount of fabric needed for the production. Width X Length

  • Fancy yarn

    A kind of yarn made by twisting two or three yarns of different materials, thickness, and colors, sometimes having thicker parts, or twisting nep into the yarn. The coloring, number of twists, etc. are designed uneven and varied. Novelty yarn / Decorative yarn.

  • Fashion frequency

    Function to create a shaping pattern by entering the number of times of narrowing/widening.

  • Fashion mark

    Double stitches. Stitch overlapped by narrowing.

  • Feeder threading form

    A reference diagram for feeding yarn on a knitting machine. Items are displayed during auto process.

  • Fill the hole

    Knitting technique to fill holes opened by stitch move or widening with other loops, etc.

  • Filling after stitch move

    To close the hole created by stitch move.

  • Fine gauge

    12 gauge or finer gauge

  • Finished count

    The display method of the yarn count can be selected from fraction or meter when registering into the Yarn list.

  • Finished line

    A line that is input at the finishing position when the seam allowance is formed. (If a check mark is added in [Finished Line] when registering the seam allowance.) A type of assist line, displayed in yellow green when [Always-display mode] is ON.

  • Finishing of yarn end(s)

    Putting extra yarns inside the product that come out of the product by knitting or by hand.

  • Fitting

    To dress patterns on a 3D model.

  • Fitting adjustment

    To adjust the dressing on a 3D model. There are some adjustment methods such as using various dressing functions, fixing pattern lines and points, and pulling the pattern.

  • Fitting simulation

    To dress patterns on a 3D model.

  • Fixed block

    Carrier part for fixing the yarn feeder. When attached to an intarsia carrier, it can be used as a normal carrier.

  • Fixed data

    One of the auto process parameters settings. Setting of fixed rib data.

  • Fixed sinker

    A sinker that acts on the yarn without moving.

  • Flat lay

    To lay a product flat.
