  • i-DSCS

    A device that controls the amount of yarn feed so that the amount of knitting yarn is kept constant.

  • i-DSCS+DTC

    The i-DSCS device with a mechanism that automatically changes the tension of the buffer arm according to the yarn supply speed.

  • i-Plating

    Plating knitting that uses LP and exchanges the main yarn and the plating yarn in the same course.

  • i1 / i1pro / Color reader

    A device that measures colors of knitted fabrics, fabrics, printed materials, color swatches, etc., to input the colors into the system. It is used for monitor calibration (only for a recommended monitor) to create printer profiles.

  • In tuck

    Tuck with “in” of the direction of travel.

  • Industrial pattern

    A pattern that has been made ready for cutting and sewing after the finished shape of the pattern has been created.

  • Initial carrier setting

    One of the auto process parameters settings. Specify the placement position of the carrier to be used.

  • Initialize pattern

    Initialize the color pattern and setting pattern.

  • Inlay

    The weft yarn that is inserted into the base knitted fabric, or its knitting.

  • Inside narrowing

    Narrowing type with double stitches on the inside of the knitted fabric.

  • Inside widening

    To increase the knitting width by moving the loop from inside to outside.

  • Inside-of fabric window/Outside-of fabric window

    Among the upper and lower windows divided by the marking menu, the upper window is called [Outside-of fabric window] and the lower window is called [Inside-of fabric window].


    [Outside-of fabric window]: A window to line up the patterns when the patterns are read out to the marking.

    [Inside-of fabric window]: A window to place the patterns you want to cut.

  • Intarsia

    Knitting that represents multiple colors in one course by switching yarns during knitting.

  • Interchanging weave

    A type of double woven fabric. It is produced in a tubular shape. It has the same pattern on the front and the back, but the colors are reversed.

  • Interlock

    A knitting method in which knit and miss are performed alternately. A method of making stitches from empty needles.

  • Intermediate color

    The intermediate color between bright and dark colors. Intermediate color is suitable for Mapping use.

  • Internal dart

    Darts inside the pattern lines. (waist darts, etc.)

  • Interval

    Setting the interval for changing the pulldown device (the number of carriage movement courses).
