  • Set in A

    A set in style in which the shoulder drop of front body and back body is the same shape. Usually, shoulder drop is represented by flechage.

  • Set in B

    There is no shoulder drop in the pattern of the front body. A set in style with lower shoulder with narrowing on the shoulder knitting on the back body.

  • Set up

    Beginning part of knitting of sleeve and body hem.

  • Sinker

    Generic term for fixed sinker and movable sinker.

  • Sinker loop

    Loop created by sinker. Used in contrast to needle loop.
