  • Pile up and down

    The piles on the both frontside and backside of a towel are designed by [up] or [down]. Three dimensional design effect can be achieved even by 1 yarn color.

  • Pile yarn

    A yarn that makes towel piles.

  • Pitch grading

    A method of inputting a grading point in the pattern and specifying the amount of movement (pitch) of that point to develop the size.

  • Pitch table

    A table for inputting the amount of movement (pitch) for each grading point.

  • Placket

    A band-shaped part attached to the front button portion of a knitted fabric.

  • Plain weave

    A woven structure produced by Warp and Weft crossing each yarn. The warp and weft yarns intersect at many points of structure, so the fabric is strong and resistant to friction.
