A process to increase the thickness of a woven/knitted fabric by scraping fibers from the surface of the fabric with needles. The texture becomes softer and the heat retention increases.

Half cardigan
Rib knitting that alternately knits knit and tuck.Knitting alternately on one side is called half cardigan, and knitting alternately on both sides is called full cardigan.

Half gauge
Knitting with one needle skipping. Coarse low gauge knitting is possible.Used in contrast to all needle.

Half Milan
Half Milan. Double jersey and front tubular or back tubular are repeated.

Heddle
A device on a weaving machine that opens the warp yarns upward and downward so that the shuttle of the weft yarns can through.

Heel/overcut
The amount of cut at which point the knife goes up/down.
The amount of cutting can be adjusted with a cutting machine, and this setting is used for the purpose of preventing uncut parts.
(e.g.) If the heel/overcut at the starting point is 3mm, cutting starts 3mm before the pattern, and finishes 3mm over. -
Herringbone
A pattern consisting of aright twill and left twill.

The part that hooks the yarn.

Hound tooth check
A pattern made of small broken or jagged checks.
